Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has an expiry date hanging over him. According to the website Soy Madridsta, president Florentinio Perez has already decided the French coach will not continue beyond the end of the season.
His replacement could be Joachim Low, the current Germany coach, although Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino is another name on the table.
Madrid have already been in contact with Low and talks have progressed well. The club's directors are optimistic that he will accept the offer to take over at the Bernabeu.
The main problem is Low's contract with Germany runs until 2020, therefore he would have to break away from it after the World Cup in the summer. Everything will depend on the German FA (DFB).
