Courtois: "We must be honest, Barça's 12-point lead is a four-game difference"
The Belgian stopper appears to have given up on the LaLiga title this season
Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois admitted that "you have to be honest, it's four games difference" to the 12-point lead Barcelona have achieved with the 2-1 win in the Clasico on Sunday.
"We will keep fighting until the end and we'll have to come here to win the Copa del Rey," added the stopper in statements to Movistar+ at the end of the match.
Courtois felt that his team played a "good game" n Sunday and that "the equaliser conceded just before half-time" by Sergi Roberto hurt them.
He said: "We had a lot of chances and we couldn't take advantage of them. In the final stretch we went for the win and their goal (Kessie's in stoppage time) came when we left space."
