Barça achieved a league title win. A gigantic triumph that puts them 12 points ahead of Madrid and leaves the league in the bag. This title can no longer escape. Xavi's team will regain the Spanish football scepter after three years of drought. The most difficult part has already been achieved. Now all that remains is to manage this stratospheric difference with intelligence. Without ever taking their foot off the accelerator. But savouring the magnificent smell of glory in every game. This Sunday much more than a Clasico was won. They won a league title and, above all, they won the right to dream big again. Because this title, which is already being caressed with the tips of our fingers, should only be the first step in the resurrection of a Barça that has managed to overcome in record time the triple sporting, economic and institutional crisis that placed it on the brink of the abyss.

Barça played more football and better football than Madrid in the first half. They proposed things and attacked. They created chances and deserved to go into the break with a partial victory. Not even the misfortune of Araujo's own goal changed the course of Xavi's side, who dominated the game and grabbed a last-gasp first half equaliser through Sergi Roberto. The script remained the same after the restart. Barça were more intense, more ambitious, ready to seal the league title with a comeback. But fatigue set in. Which led to inaccuracies. And nerves. The VAR cancelled out Madrid's 1-2 for offside and in stoppage time, Barça pulled out all the stops and put together a perfect move: started by Lewandowski with a back-heel, followed by a great cross from Balde and finished off by Kessie to make it 2-1 and give the Blaugrana an epic victory.

NOT EVEN THE CAMPAIGNS CAN STOP THIS BARÇA

The lead-up to the Clasico was marked, unfortunately, by the 'Negreira case'. The controversy, fuelled by the loudspeakers of anti-barcelonismo (which are many and very powerful), had the main objective of destabilising Xavi's team before a decisive match. They did not achieve their aim. This Barça is a solid project, immune to enemy attacks. It overcomes adversity. And that is aware of the need to win the title to continue building a successful future. This Barça is a champion team and this Sunday it demonstrated it again with a triumph that certifies the change of cycle in Spanish football. Barça is once again Barça. And there is no manipulation, no matter how perverse it may be, that can stop it...
