Silva will not play in the friendly against Argentina on Tuesday

David Silva has left the Spain squad dafter Friday's draw with Germany for "personal reasons". The Manchester City player did not train at Las Rozas on Saturday morning in Madrid.

Julen Lopetegui will not be with Silva for the game against Argentina at Atletico's Wanda Metropolitano on Tuesday night. He played for 71 minutes against Germany before being replaced by Lucas Vazquez.

Silva has missed several Man City games over the last few months and announced in January that his new born son is "fighting day by day" after being born premature.

Barcelona players Gerard Pique, Andres Iniesta and Jordi Alba, Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos and Bayern's Thiago also missed training on Saturday morning in favour of doing recovery work in the gym.
