National Court judge Francisco de Jorge, who is investigating the former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Luis Rubiales for the alleged crimes of sexual assault and coercion of footballer Jenni Hermoso, has decided to summon former national team coach Jorge Vilda and national team manager Albert Luque as investigated parties.

The judge considers that both may have been perpetrators of a crime of coercion in the case that follows the kiss of Luis Rubiales to the player Jennifer Hermoso in the final of the last World Cup.

Legal sources have informed Efe of this decision by the magistrate, who has summoned them for 10 October, a date on which he will also take the statement of the RFEF's marketing director, Rubén Rivera, as an investigator.

Luque was initially summoned as a witness for tomorrow, Thursday, but the judge has opted to change his status to that of under investigation.

On the other hand, he has maintained the summons scheduled for tomorrow as witnesses for the head of press of the women's national team, Patricia Pérez, and the former director of Integrity of the RFEF, Miguel Caba, who will testify from 10am, according to legal sources.
