Hermoso did not feature in the last games against Sweden and Switzerland

With the waters now calming down in the Spain women's national team, Montse Tomé has announced her squad for the next international window. The coach held a press conference in Las Rozas and announced the players who will make up the squad for the games against Italy and Switzerland.

Jenni Hermoso returning to the squad was the big news. The former Barcelona forward was omitted from the last squad in September after pressing charges against Luis Rubiales for his unsolicited kiss after the World Cup final.

In the previous international break, Spain comfortably beat Switaerland, where former Barça player Ana Crnogorcevic plays, and won away at Sweden with a late penalty

This month, La Roja play Italy in Salerno on 27 October and Switzerland on 31 October. Spain showed great unity in the previous window after a very difficult and busy summer after the World Cup.
