Playmaker Alexia Putellas, a two-time 'Ballon d'Or' winner, stated on Monday at El Prat Airport that the group of players in the national team feels "bad" due to everything surrounding this call-up for the national team.

Alexia made these statements at the airport alongside Cata Coll, Mariona Caldentey, Ona Batlle, and Irene Paredes. All of them are travelling to Valencia to join the national team coached by Montse Tomé.

When asked about how the players feel about everything surrounding this call-up, Alexia Putellas responded, "Well, how do you think?"

She was also asked whether she considered it appropriate that Jennifer Hermoso had not been called up to protect her, as the coach mentioned.

"Protect Jenni from what? If everything is fine, isn't it?" wondered the Barcelona player, confirming that she had spoken with Jennifer Hermoso but was not going to comment further.

Alexia Putellas, Cata Coll, Mariona Caldentey, Irene Paredes, and Ona Batlle are already travelling to Valencia. The players have gone to Barcelona-El Prat Airport, and Putellas even answered some questions from the media present there.

The call-up also includes Barcelona players Mapi León, Aitana Bonmatí, and Patri Guijarro.
