Enzo Zidane joins Rayo Majadahonda on loan
Zinedine Zidane's oldest son returns to Spain after playing with Swiss side Laussane last season
Rayo Majadahonda have announced the loan signing of Enzo Zidane from Swiss side FC Lausanne.
It sees Zinedine Zidane's oldest son return to Spain after joining Alaves last summer before moving to Lausanne in January.
Enzo played four matches for Alaves, two in the league and two in the Copa del Rey. Previously he'd been at Real Madrid Castilla, where he was the captain of the team and even made his senior debut in a Copa del Rey match against Cultural Leonesa in the 2016/17 season.
"Everybody has made a huge effort to secure this season-long loan deal. A special mention goes to the first team coach, Antonio Iriondo, who was key in convincing the player how important he would be to the team and that a season in LaLiga 1|2|3 would help his overall development as a footballer," explained the club in an official statement.
