Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane alrwady knows that he is certain to be without four players for Sunday's trip to Real Sociedad. It's a game which Los Blancos need to win following back-to-back draws against Valencia and Levante. La Real, meanwhile, have won each of their opening three league games.
An injury to Mateo Kovacic against APOEL in the Champions League on Wednesday is Zidane's latest problem. Hours before that game, Marcelo's two match suspension had been confirmed by the RFEF. Those two absensece add to Cristiano Ronaldo (who is still suspended) and Karim Benzema (who is injured).
However, Marco Asensio should return for the game at Anoeta after missing Wednesday's match due to a bizarre injury which was picked up through shaving his legs.
Zidane, therefore, will have to loof for alternatives, most notably in attack, for the game against Real Sociedad, who on Thursday are in action in the Europa League.
