Achraf has been left out despite playing regularly in recent weeks

Varane, Bale, Carvajal, Navas and Kovacic all have injury problems

Right-back Achraf Hakimi has been left out of Zinedine Zidane's squad for Real Madrid's game against Las Palmas for technical reasons. Raphael Varane, Gareth Bale and Dani Carvajal are all still missing with injuries.

The changes expected to be made by Zidane start with the squad. Still without right-back Carvajal, who should return for the Madrid derby later this month, the French coach has decided to leave out his natural replacement, Achraf, who was playing the majority of games in his absence.

Varane still has fitness problems and cannot return yet, with Keylor Navas, Luca Zidane and Mateo Kovacic also missing. As announced by Zidane on Saturday, the game comes too soon for Bale, too, who will not join up with Wales this week either.

The full squad is: Casilla, Moha, Nacho, Jesús Vallejo, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Theo, Casemiro, Marcos Llorente, Kroos, Modric, Ceballos, Isco, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vázquez, Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Borja Mayoral.
