Dani Carvajal and Gareth Bale will miss the Copa del Rey tie with Fuenlabrada but they are getting close to recovery, with the full-back starting worko on the bicycle in recent days and the Welshman nearly ready to train with the group again.
Carvajal's heart problem is improving and it has allowed him to work lightly on Tuesday and Wednesday at Valdebebas. Zidane confirmed it all in a press conference. "Dani is doing well because he has taken tests and it's positive," said the coach. "Today he started using the bike, he will take his time but I'm happy because he's healthy and there's nothing elese, but there is a recovery process. He's started yesterday a bit and today more, we will see how he goes."
On Bale he added: "Bale is getting better, he's on the pitch, ready to train with the team but I can't give a date," he said, indicating that he doesn't know if the winger will be fit to face Tottenham in the Champions League next week.
