Real Madrid travel to London this week to take on Spurs at Wembley

They go into the Champions League game with a number of injury doubts

Real Madrid have begun to prepare for Wednesday's match against Tottenham at Wembley in the Champions League. The players were back in training at Valdebebas after Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Girona in La Liga.

The good news was that Dani Carvajal was able to do some work on the training pitch, albeit without the ball, along with Gareth Bale.

However, in contrast, Isco and Raphael Varane were forced to work inside after ending the game at Montilivi with knocks and are both doubts for the game against Madrid.

"The players who started the game against Girona trained at a lower intensity out on the field, apart from Isco and Varane, who worked inside," Madrid said in a statement.

"Bale, Carvajal, Kovacic and Keylor Navas continue their recovery processes. The first two trained alone on the field with and without a ball."

Therefore, coach Zinedine Zidane called up Castilla goalkeeper Moha and the under-19s Darío to take part in a session where ball work was the focus.

"The Madridistas carried out ball circulation exercises and pressing, shooting and matches in reduced sized pitches," Madrid added.
