The French coach clashed with Perez and Sanchez on several issues

Last week The Sun revealed that a disagreement between Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid was the reason for the French coach leaving. A disagreement between Zidane and the club's hierarchy, including both the president Florentino Perez and the general director Jose Ángel Sánchez.

There were two reasons for the conflict between Zidane and the club. The first one: there are certain players that he didn't want nexr season due to their poor attitude towards the club.

Zidane was not ready for what happened after the Champions League final. Gareth Bale without doubt was the biggest problem, but Cristiano Ronaldo, too.

But it wasn't just that. Zidane has always regretted what happened in the Copa del Rey against Leganes. Because that day, the now ex-Madrid manager gave up on a large part of his 'B team'.

He didn;t like any of his backup players, like Theo, Vallejo, Marcos Llorente etc... and it's clear that for the new campaign he wanted to strengthen and fine new players to improve the squad so that they could compete in all three competitions. Zidane was clear: either they make these adjustments or they can't keep winning.

But the coach and the club also clashed on other matters to do with summer signings. And rather than listening to their coach, Madrid had their own priorities.

And that's how it reached the situation where he he couldn't continue. From there, it was Zidane who walked, rather he was invited to leave. All this explains the days which followed the club's third consecutive Champions League triumph last month.
