"This is my style. To take on my marker, be effective and direct, always looking for the goal. I'm just happy to have started the match and to help Real win. It was a very important match for me, a moment that will leave it's mark in my career. I must thank everyone at the club for making me feel so welcome, it's helped me to adapt quicker."

a dilemma for solari

The performance of the Brazilian star now causes a dilemma for Solari. Ahead of Vinicius Jr. in the pecking order is Asensio and Bale so it'll be interesting to see where he fits into the team. However while he might have won over the fans, the youngster still has work to do when it comes to his teammates. In a term which isn't meant to sound endearing, he's known as "Vinicius Maradona" amongst some of the current first teamers.
