Solari: Some Real Madrid players have not delivered as expected
The Real Madrid didn't name them but criticises some players
After arriving over one hour late for his press conference on Saturday, Santi Solari said some of his Real Madrid players have not lived to up to expectations.
Madrid have lost four consecutive home games and have been knocked out of the Copa del Rey, the La Liga title race and the Champions League.
It's left Solari's job on the line and he is not expected to last much longer in this position. On Saturday, he came out swinging.
"The majority [of players] have delivered as expected, some have not, and I have told them so personally," Solari said.
"I cannot reveal what has been said in private, but I will repeat what I said on my first day here, which is that everyone here is just passing through, and the only objective we work towards is the next game.
"I'm always going to give the best of myself, as I have done since the first day I was here. It is an honour to coach Real Madrid."
