Real Madrid's new Brazilian starlet, Rodrygo Goes, couldn't stop smiling after scoring on his debut at the Santiago Bernabeu

For the second season running it appears Real Madrid will turn to a young Brazilian to help the team score goals. Last year it was Vinicius Jr. and this time around it appears Rodrygo Goes is to be the Santiago Bernabeu's new hero.

The 18-year-old was handed his first start for Madrid and took less than 10 minutes to get on the scoresheet.

"I'm very happy for everything that's happening to me. I didn't expect it and everything is moving so quickly. But I'm very satisfied with the trust being shown in me," admitted Rodrygo following the 5-0 victory over Leganes.

The youngster didn't want to forget the role Karim Benzema played in making his home debut even better. "It's very easy to play with him because he brings so much quality and confidence to the team."
