Roberto Carlos touts Neymar for Real Madrid move
The Brazilian says he would love to see his compatriot at the Santiago Bernabeu
Neymar is becoming one of the big protagonists in the international break.
Apart from getting injured in the friendly between Brazil and Cameroon, the Brazilian forward has been in the news because of the persistent rumours about a possible return to FC Barcelona.
The latest development is former Real Madrid and Brazil defender Roberto Carlos coming to the fore to praise his compatriot and endorse, implicitly, his signing for Real Madrid.
Neymar is Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez’s object of desire.
Roberto Carlos encouraged the Madrid chief to make his dream come true. When questioned about the most skilful football player in the world, Madrid’s ambassador did not hesitate for a moment.
“(Neymar) is an incredible footballer, with incredible abilities and I think he will soon be the best in the world," said Carlos. "Football players like him are what not only my club Real Madrid need, but all the best teams in the world need.”
The ex-footballer also endorsed the signings of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo: “We hope they maintain the ability and attitude to become great champions,” added Roberto Carlos.
