Raphael Varane: It's a pity but we have to keep working

French defender Raphael Varane spoke to Movistar after the 1-1 draw between Real Madrid and Real Valladolid on Saturday.

"It's a pity but we have to keep working," said Varane, who recognised that Los Blancos found it "hard to score the first goal". He wanted to highlight that Madrid "showed some good things".

"It was a good game and we have to keep working. We saw good things but we could have scored earlier to be more comfortable," continued Varane."

Karim Benzema sent the hosts ahead on 82 minutes and Sergi Guardiola equalised two minutes from time.
