The French coach would like to take his compatriot to the Santiago Bernabeu

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane continued his flirtation with Paris Saint-Germain forward Kilian Mbappe ahead of Tuesday's meeting between the two sides.

Zidane has never shied away from talking about the France international and comments earlier this season drew the ire of PSG sporting director Leonardo.

After the Madrid boss pointed out that Mbappe has said it's a dream to play for Los Blancos, Leonardo responded: "It's annoying, he should stop, it's not the time to talk about dreams and all that, it's not the time to destabilise everything."

Talking ahead of Madrid and PSG's meeting this week, Zidane was once again asked about Mbappe.

"I've known him for a long time," Zidane said in a press conference. "I've been in love with him for a long time, but as a person first.

"He came here for a trial a long time ago. Tomorrow he comes here as an opponent. What's important to me is what we are going to do, though. We know the player he is and his importance to his team. We have to be ready."
