The Colombian looked at the game against Real Madrid

James Rodriguez spoke after Bayern Munich's 4-3 aggregate defeat by Real Madrid in the Champions League, his parent club.

The game was effectively decided by the error of Bayern keeper Sven Ulreich.

"You don't have to blame the goalkeeper, he has saved us a lot. We have made costly errors in the first leg as well as here," said the Colombian playmaker.

"I think we had a good game, this time it didn't come off. If Madrid went through it's because they did good things. We have to be calm and think about the German Cup final."

In terms of the penalty which should have been given for Marcelo's handball, James said: "They say it was a penalty but well, there's no need to blame anyone. I was far away and didn't see it that well."
