"If Madrid have leaked Neymar interest, it's because they know they can sign him"

Real Madrid have never hidden that Neymar's a player they would like to sign. During recent months, various reports have placed Neymar at the Santiago Bernabeu. Even Florentino Perez told the Brazilian he would have more chance of winning the Ballon d'Or if he moved to the Spanish capital. 

And if Neymar continues to be in Madrid's orbit, there's a reason for that. Former Los Blancos chied Ramon Calderon, speaking to French newspaper Le Parisien, says that Perez's interest is real and that a transfer is possible. 

"No, it's not a diversion tactic," Calderon said. "If Madrid have left this information be leaked, it's because the hierarchy know that they can do the transfer. 

"That Neymar may have a clause in his PSG contract, that Madrid could pay it, that the Brazilian is interested in moving clubs... there are sufficient reasons. It's also a resource to put pressure on Cristiano Ronaldo and to insist that he leaves."
