Emery says Neymar needs "affection" after PSG fans jeered him

Neymar is in the eye of a storm. Since he was jeered by Paris Saint-Germain supporters for not letting Cavani take the penalty which would have made him the club's top scorer, his situation has changed completely. 

His people have leaked that he's hurting and that he admits he made a mistake leaving Barcelona. He is yearning for La Liga and is already preparing for a return, to Real Madrid, PSG's Champions League opponents. 

Aware of what's going on, Emery is also beginning to worry and after his side's cup game on Wednesday he reflected on the situation. 

"Neymar is a player that we have to enjoy," he said. "We have to give him affection. He's here in Paris and he's a great player. We have to enjoy him. Jeering our own players goes against our values. I hope he can be back soon with the group." 

We will see if the message works, but it's clear that neither Madrid nor PSG are going into their last 16 meeting in the best possible manner. Both dressing rooms are more divided all the time and the supporters, about all at Madrid, are turning against the players. 

And in Paris, Neymar, who's currently out injured, is a ticking time bomb that could go off at any moment.
