The Real Madrid president will lead the talks to sign the France star from PSG

Real Madrid have set a limit of 120 million euros in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain and France striker Kylian Mbappe.

According to Eurosport, Madrid president Florentino Perez will lead negotiations for Mbappe with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.

The cited report says that Madrid will offer around 100 million and will not go above 120 million.

Madrid acknowledge that PSG paid Monaco 180 million for Mbappe but he is out of contract in 2022 and will be in the final 12 months of his deal at the end of the season.

Therefore, they consider PSG would be wise to negotiate given the risk of losing him for free the following year.

FLORENTINO's AIM

Perez feels Mbappe is the only player capable of filling the hole that was left in 2018 when Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Juventus.

The France international is in contact with coach Zinedine Zidane and his people are aware of Madrid's interest in signing him.

Perez has told Zidane that 'Jovic is the No.9' along with Benzema until Mbappe arrives, while Zidane has informed the president of Mbappe's desire to wear the white of Madrid.

Mbappe has told PSG he does not want to renew but despite that sporting director Leonardo continues to try and get him to change his mind. Madrid are convinced, though, that his posture is firm.
