Ronaldo won his fifth Ballon d'Or in the week and displayed it at the Bernabeu

Messi has also won five, with the two having won the last 10 between them

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo paraded his fifth Ballon d'Or at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday before the La Liga game against Sevilla.

In a short and sweet presentation, Ronaldo stood with his latest Ballon d'Or and the other four he has won on a pedestal in front of him.

There, alone, he posed for photographs while his teammates, a long way back from him, and others, such as Sergio Ramos from the bench, applauded him.

It was a very different scene to the one witnessed when Lionel Messi paraded his fifth Ballon d'Or at Camp Nou two years ago.

On that day, Leo posed with his five Ballon d'Ors and he wanted to do so with the rest of his teammates, showing that it was thanks to them that he'd won them, too.
