The tireless midfielder, who won the World Cup with France, is set to be rewarded for his performances and will become the highest earner at the London club

Roman Abramovich has been accused of trying to sell his star players this summer but the Chelsea owner will do everything in his power to keep hold of N'Golo Kante. PSG and Barcelona have both been linked with moves for the tireless midfielder.

Kante, who won the World Cup with France, only strengthened his growing reputation in world football at the tournament and is one of the best midfielders on the planet. This is why new Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri, doesn't want to lose him. Chelsea have decided to offer Kante a new contract which will make him the best paid player at the club - more than what Eden Hazard currently earns.

According to 'The Times', the deal will be worth £75m over five years. This means Kante would earn £290,000 per week (€325,000) or £70,000 more than Hazard.

The 27-year-old will earn £15m per season until 2023. This gigantic offer comes as a result of PSG sniffing around Kante as they look to improve their team's chances of winning the Champions League.

Chelsea, according to the same newspaper, are also considering a new contract for Hazard. This is to keep the Belgian out of Real Madrid's clutches as the Spanish giants search the market for someone to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
