Friday was an important day for Neymar. The Brazilian star scored his first goal at this summer's World Cup in his second game for 'La Canarinha'  in a 2-0 win against Costa Rica. And his the Paris Saint-Germain star's tears after the game moved the world of football. 

Neymar has since sent a message of encouragement to the Brazilian fans, who were depserate for a win after the draw against Switzerland. He posted it on his Twitter profile, along with a photograph of himself dreaming of lifting the trophy in Russia. 

"Not everyone knows what happened to me to get here," Neymar wrote. "Talk is cheap, even a parrot can do it, but do something... few people can do that!!

"The cry is of joy, of overcoming, of willpower and desire to win. Things have never been easy in my life, it would not be now, right!!!

"The dream continues, not the dream... the MISSION! Congratulations on the game, boys, you are the best."

Neymar could not hold back the emotion after the game, when he broke down in tears, one of the images of the World Cup. Tears of "joy, of overcoming, of willpower and desire to win" that show how desperate he is to succeed at the finals this summer. 

Brazil coach Tite said after the game that Neymar and Barça star Philippe Coutinho, who also scored in the win over Costa Rica, the "technical leaders" of his team.
