Getafe sign midfielder Samu Saiz from Leeds United
Saiz joins on loan with an option to buy in the summer
Leeds United midfielder Samu Saiz will join LaLiga side Getafe on loan until the end of the season, with the Madrid side then having an option to sign the Spaniars permanently.
Saiz, who previously played for Getafe's B team in 2012-13 (making one first team appearance) will cover the absence of Sengal's Amath Ndiaye, who will be out for months with ligament damage.
"After an agreement with Leeds United, Samu Saiz will join Getafe on loan to cover the loss of Amath, with an option to buy," the club said in a statement.
Saiz, 27, has been at English second division side Leeds, managed by Marcelo Bielsa, since leaving Huesca in 2017.
His career has also took in spells Real Madrid, Sevilla, Almeria and Atletico Madrid.
