The former Barca forward shared memories of his time at the club and at Chelsea and Inter

Former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o spoke about Jose Mourinho, his coach at Inter and Chelsea, on Thursday, saying he is "one of the best people in the world of football" and "it's something the people should know."

"I'm sick of saying that this guy is one of the best people in the world of football," said Eto'o. "I ended my career and the first person to send me a message was this man," said Eto'o at an event held by La Liga alongside Mourinho and Javier Tebas.

At 38 and recently retired, Eto'o said: "All the players fought for him, killed for him." Mourinho added as a joke: "Almost all of them."

Mourinho was at Barca for four years, betwen 1996 and 2000, as an assistant coach. However he had a huge rivalry with the club after taking over at Real Madrid.

"It would be beautiful," said Eto'o, of a potential return to Barcelona. "I'd like to ask Jose to come to Mallorca, that would be good, the best city in Spain. But I'd like him at Barca even more."
