Before the start of FIFA's gala, Dani Alves spoke about how Lionel Messi's omission was bizarre from The Best awards.
Speaking to ESPN Alves said: "It's unjust that Messi was not nominated for The Best. It's not just that they have only looked at what he has done with Argentina and not what he has done with Barcelona."
Alves drew some looks at the gala for wearing a shirt with two big wings on it.
