Simao includes a Barcelona player in his worst XI that he has played with
Dutchman Winston Bogarde was included in the XI he picked
Criticised for doing so he admitted he had committed a "crass error"
Simao has caused controversy by agreeing to pick the worst XI he has shared a dressing room with for programme Erro Crasso.
Included among the former Barcelona and Espanyol winger’s side was Winston Bogarde of Barcelona, a former team-mate.

Filip De Wilde (Sporting), Emanuele Pesaresi (Benfica), Winston Bogarde (Barcelona), Nené (Sporting), Vinicius (Sporting), Fernando Aguiar (Benfica), Paulo Almeida (Benfica), Ramirez (Sporting), Kmet (Sporting), Ouattara (Sporting) and Bruno Gimenez (Sporting).
Aguiar, among others was angry. Afterwards Simao published a message on Instagram to apologise.
“I want to ask forgiveness publicly to Fernando Aguiar and all the players that I referred to on the programme Erro Crasso when I was asked to pick the worst players with whom I played. As the name of the programme indicates, it was a crass error on my part.”
