The Belgian goalkeeper is in demand and might move from Stamford Bridge

Thibaut Courtois has been sounded out at Real Madrid as a possible replacement for Keylor Navas. The Chelsea stopper's contract with the Blues ends in 2019 and a possible extension of his deal will not arrive until after Barcelona's key games in March.

PSG have joined the race for the goalkeeper. According to Belgian television channel RTBF, the father of Courtois, Theirry, met PSG officials in London on Monday to have informal conversations about his son's future. The Parisian club want security between the sticks, with neither Kevin Trapp or Alphonse Areola convincing.

Chelsea want to improve Courtois' deal and get him to sign on. However Courtois has hinted he would like to return to Madrid, where he was on loan at Atletico and where his children live. Real Madrid's priority is signing David De Gea, but if they doesn't go well then Courtois is their next choice.

Unai Emery's side have ntered the scene. PSG have a hugely expensive team and would not quiver at the thought of throwing more money to build a base for it. The meeting took place without Courtois' agent Christophe Henrotay present. However he left the door open to a move, saying: "If a club is interested they will have to come to an agreement with Chelsea and speak with me about their interest in my client."
