The French club want to bring back the big-haired PSV player

The future of Xavi Simons is once again on everyone's lips after the great performances he is putting in at PSV which have aroused the interest of the big clubs in Europe. Among them, PSG, who have a clause set at 12 million euros to bring back the Dutchman.

So much is the interest, that they would be willing to exceed the amount fixed in the clause up to 20 million, four million more for a signing on bonus and four more to his agent, Rafaela Pimienta. A fact that ESPN revealed and one which demonstrates that the Parisians strongly desire the arrival of Simons next summer.

But the intentions do not seem to be the same for the player himself, who is not said to look favourably on a return to Paris. In Eindhoven, he has found the consistency he so desired under Ruud Van Nistelrooy, with whom he has already scored 16 goals and provided eight assists so far this season.

The Dutch international is aware that a return to the French capital would not guarantee him a regular starting place and does not seem willing to move to a destination that does not guarantee him the importance he feels he has at PSV. "I've signed for five years at PSV and I'm very happy and I don't know what will happen in the future. There is an option to buy me back, but it's up to me to decide. In the end I have the last word," he said in an interview not long ago, making his intentions clear.
