Few days have passed since Barcelona made official Paulinho's return to Guangzhou Evergrande in the Chinese Super League, on loan, with a 50m euro obligatory buy clause in it.
Less than two weeks passed since Brazil were knocked out of the World Cup by Belgium at the quarter-final stage, but Paulinho is already playing. He started in the 4-0 win over Guizhou Hengfeng and played all 90 minutes under the command of Fabio Cannavaro.
Paulinho spent one year at Barcelona where he won La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
After becoming crucial for Valverde in the first half of the season, he dropped out of fashion a bit in the second part. Barca sold him because he is not in Valverde's plans for the coming campaign.
