Lautaro Martinez's message for Inter fans after Serie A's ending
The striker has hinted he could still be at the club next season despite Barça interest
Lautaro Martínez, one of Europe's in-fashion forwards, has sent a message via social media which will have gone down well with Inter Milan fans. The Argentine footballer has suggested he will still be with the Italian side next term.
Lautaro has become one of the continent's most wanted strikers this season. Barcelona, especially, have been strongly linked with him. The Catalans have not hidden their desire to sign him as they rebuild their squad. His good relationship with Lionel Messi, on and off the pitch, is in his favour.
However, he's taken advantage of the end of the Serie A season to send a hopeful message for Inter fans. He wrote: "With Serie A finished, I want to thank my teammates for giving everything in every game and the fans for uniting us." It's not the first time he's used social media to send a message to the supporters.
It is, though, the last phrase of the message which seems the most important: "We will continue doing our best for this team. Forza Inter." Confirmation that he will continue at the club next season?
