He scored a penalty as Sporting beat Vitoria de Setubal in the cup
Former Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu has won his first title in Portugal. The Sporting Lisbon defender scored a penalty in the shoot-out against Vitoria de Setubal in the Portuguese league cup.
Vitoria went ahead through Goncalo Paciencia but Bas Dost equalised from the spot after a handball by Podstawski. In the shoot-out Podstawski was the only player to miss too, with Mathieu converting his effort after the 1-1 draw.
