Espanyol players David Lopez and Sergio Garcia have padded out Espanyol's list of club captains to four, behind Javi Lopez, and his second in command, Victor Sanchez.
After Victor Alvarez left, the third captain last season, the team decided that for the new campaign, not only would he be replaced but a fourth spot opened up too.
David Lopez has been at Espanyol for a long time, coming up through the youth categories before leaving for Napoli and returning last summer, becoming an important part of Quique Sanchez Flores' side.
Meanwhile striker Sergio Garcia, who left in 2015 when he was the main captain, signed for Al-Rayyan in Qatar but has now returned, to great delight for Espanyol fans and his team-mates.
