Kounde could be back for the Clasico... and start at right-back

The Barça defender is desperate to be involved against Madrid on Sunday

It is a big week for Barcelona's present and future. Xavi Hernandez hopes to get some players back from injury, if not against Inter on Wednesday then to face Real Madrid on Sunday.

The latest to return is Jules Kounde, although he won't feature against Inter. But the good news he should be back for the Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Kounde is pushing hard to be available for a game he is desperate to play in after his €55 million summer move from Sevilla.

The Frenchman is keen to play as soon as possible but the all parties have decided to minimise the risks of rushing him back too quickly.

Sunday, though, is possible and Kounde is expected to slot in at right-back to face the dangerous Vinicius Jr.

It's most likely that Xavi picks Gerard Pique and Eric Garcia in the middle of defence, with Kounde and Marcos Alonso as the full-backs, although Alejandro Balde will also enter his thinking.
