Pending official confirmation, Barça will host Madrid at empty Camp Nou on a Saturday

The first Clasico of the 2020-21 La Liga season will take place on Saturday, Oct. 24, according to the show 'El Transistor' on Onda Cero. The game will kickoff at 4pm CET, pending official confirmation from the league, which should arrive soon.

Barcelona will host the first meeting with Real Madrid of the campaign at Camp Nou. It takes place in the seventh game week, although it will be Madrid's sixth game of the season and Barça's fifth. Both teams started the campaign late due to European involvement in August.

The first meeting between the two sides is often given the 4pm CET slot as it favours the Asian market. In fact, the possibility of playing even earlier was mooted. The second Clasico of the season usually starts later for the American market.

Unfortunately, the game will be played behind closed doors, as all games are in La Liga due to the coronavirus pandemic.
