The defender becomes the first Colombian player to win the domestic double with the Catalans

Barcelona defender Yerry Mina has become the first Colombian player to win the Liga and Cup double in Barcelona's history.

Although he has not played very much and did not feature in the decisive game against Deportivo, Yerry Mina celebrated the title with his teammates.

After all, it's a success very few players get to be part of and Mina, who arrived at Barça in January, goes down in history as one of the few players from his country who have won the Spanish title.

Before last night, the only Colombian to have won the league was James Rodriguez, who won it with Real Madrid last season before moving to Bayern Munich.

Mina becomes the 17th Colombian to win a league title in Europe. Former Inter Milan player Ivan Cordoba and James Rodriguez lead the way with five titles to their names.

Other Colombians to win this league along with Mina this season are James Rodriguez, who won it with Bayern, and Santiago Arias who plays with PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Winger Juan Cuadrado could also win it for Juventus.
