Xavi: Dani Alves will add in every way at Barça
The new coach is delighted with the return of Alves to Camp Nou
Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez was asked about the arrival of Dani Alves. He said the return of the Brazilian was “managed between everyone” and “he will add to everything”. “He’s a positive guy, a winner, he brings character and soul,” said Xavi.
“The president told me it was an option and I made a decision. I know Dani perfectly well, he’ll add to everything. We know how he plays and he’s very good physically. He passed the medical and is a spectacular player.
“The pity is that he can’t play until January,” said Xavi. “In terms of linking moves he’s one of the best players I’ve seen, and he has experience. There are no doubts with him. He’ll be a great reinforcement in all ways.”
