Tuttosport: Milan reject off offer from Barça for Romagnoli
The Catalan club are said to have expressed an interest in the defender
AC Milan rejected an offer from Barelona for defender Alessio Rogmanoli, one of the Italian side's best players last season. According to Tuttosport on Friday, Barça failed with their move for the centre-back.
The Serie A side say the player is not for sale. He is a key player for the present and the future and for that reason, they rejected Barça's advances.
Tuttosport add that the Spanish champion's offer was tempting at around 40 million euros for the 24-year-old, who played 41 games last season for Milan, scoring twice.
With Milan fighting to comply with UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules, the money would have been useful. But according to the report they will not consider offers for Romagnoli, who still has three years on his contract.
