Here is the full schedule for FC Barcelona's preseason tour 2019/20
The squad will begin training on the 14th July, then head to Japan, return home to face Arsenal before finishing with a trip to the US
Now that the date and opponent has been confirmed for the Joan Gamper Trophy, FC Barcelona have completed their plans for preseason ahead of the 2019/20 season.
Ernesto Valverde wants his players back at the club on the 14th July. Those involved in summer tournaments will join up later on. Once medical and physical tests are completed, training will begin on the 15th of July. They'll spend a week at home before flying out to Japan in order to face Chelsea (23rd July) and Vissel Kobe (27th July) as part of the 'FC Barcelona Japan Tour 2019 Presented by Rakuten'.
A SPECIAL GAMPER
After their mini-tour of Japan, the team will return to Barcelona and take on Arsenal in the 54th Joan Gamper Trophy match (4th August). This is traditionally where Barça present their squad for the upcoming season.
Then Valverde and his players will fly out to the United States in order to compete for the first ever 'LaLiga Serie A Cup'. Both matches see Barça face Napoli. The first match will be on the 7th of August (Miami) and the second on the 10th (Michigan).
