Barça will take on Arsenal in next season's Trofeu Joan Gamper
This is the first time the English side has played in the match which will take place at the Camp Nou on 4th August
Barça now know who their rival will be in the 54th Trofeu Joan Gamper match: Arsenal. This is the fist time Arsenal have been involved in the preseason contest. The English club finished fifth in the Premier League last season and were beaten by Chelsea in the Europa League final.
It'll take place on the 4th August at 20:00 (local time) at the Camp Nou.
Before the match starts, Barça will present their first team squad for the next season and it'll give supporters their first glance at the new arrivals.
With the Gamper match now confirmed, Barça's preseason plans are practically complete. They'll first play in Japan on the 23rd and 27th July before heading to the United States for two further matches against Napoli.
