Setien: I am certain that Real Madrid will not win all their games

Barcelona coach Quique Setien said Gerard Pique's pessimism was the result of the frustration of the moment after a goalless draw at Sevilla ceded the title advantage to Real Madrid. 

Zinedine Zidane's side can go top of the table thanks to their superior head-to-head record on Sunday if they beat Real Sociedad, leaving Pique to say that it will be "very difficult" for Barça to win the league from here. 

However, with eight games still to go (nine for Madrid), Setien predicted that Madrid will still drop points between now and the end of the season. 

"It's the frustration of the moment," he said when asked for his thoughts on Pique's comments. "Above all because in the first half we were very good. Maybe the sensations aren't positive right now, but I'm sure he will see it differently tomorrow. I don't think Madrid are going to win all their games. 

"I don't think we need to dramatise the situation. I have seen a lot of games, there are a lot of points to be played for and all the games have been competitive. We just have to focus on how we can improve."   

Setien felt Barça played well in the first half against Sevilla and was disappointed not to get the three points. 

Barça are next in action on Tuesday, when they host Athletic Club at Camp Nou, before a trip to Celta Vigo next weekend.

“Tenemos no diré las mismas opciones, pero el Madrid tendrá que ganar en San Sebastián y aún quedaran muchos partidos para ser pesimistas ahora; la realidad es que estamos bien, estoy contento con muchas cosas, pero debemos mejorar algunas otras. Nos falta un poco de definición, yo sigo siendo igual de optimista. Estaba seguro (y lo estoy) de que ninguno de los dos equipos va a ganarlo todo, seguro que al rival también le pasará”, añadía un Setién que mantiene intacta la fe.
