Sergino Dest: I'll run until my lungs are out of oxygen for Messi
The new Barca signing is thrilled to be at the club where he hopes to shine with the stars
Sergino Dest spoke to Barca's official channels about his feelings upon having signed for the club. The former Ajax right back is excited and says it's an honour to play at what he considers to be the best team in the world and with the best players.
"Everything I'm living through is incredible," said Dest. "It's an honour to be able to play in the best team in the world and a dream come true.
"I came here to have the chance to play with the best players in the world. The first thing I want to do is improve, play well, and then try and win everything."
In comments to De Telegraaf, Dest added: "I'll run until my lungs are out of oxygen in each game for Messi."
He also explained about his move. "Until two weeks ago I thought I'd be a Bayern player. (However) Bayern didn't offer enough (to Ajax) because of the coronavirus, and Barca made a proposal. Everything changed."
