Samuel Umtiti's banter which caused controversy on the victory parade
The Frenchman had to apologise after upsetting journalists
Samuel Umtiti was having fun during Barcelona's victory parade. Dancing, laughing, sending confetti flying, but beer as well. And that was where the controversy came from. He threw it over his team-mates, but also some of the people following the bus.
Umtiti, obsessed with throwing beer over everyone and everything, threw beer over a group of journalists covering the parade. He quickly apologised to journalist Helena Condis, of Cadena COPE.
She said she told Umtiti "I'm going to kill you". "He was jumping, dancing and throwing beer over the bus. I made the gesture at him of slitting his throat," said Condis.
