Ronaldo Nazario joined the tributes to the departing Barça captain
Former Barcelona striker Ronaldo Nazario has joined in the tributes to Andres Iniesta after the captain announced he is leaving the Blaugrana after 16 years in the first team.
The Brazilian joined the growing number of voices who believe that Iniesta deserved to win the Ballon d'Or.
In an interview with radio station Cadena Ser, Ronaldo said "Iniesta deserved a Ballon d'Or, but he doesn't need it, he already has an incredible list of trophies and a great career. He is the best Spanish player of all time, I thank him for his quality, his football and his generosity."
REAL MADRID's CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
In the same interview, Ronaldo spoke about the possibility of Real Madrid, another of his former teams, winning a third consecutive Champions League.
"We're going to try and win the Champions League for a third year in a row, something historic that we will not see again in the future any time soon. I'm a huge fan of Zinedine Zidane, he deserves every minute of what he is currently experiencing."
