Jose Mourinho's plan to sign Samuel Umtiti
The Manchester United coach has not given up on swiping the defender from Barça
Manchester united coach Jose Mourinho still has Samuel umtiti on a very high place in his list of transfers for next season.
United are very interested in Umtiti, even though the player seems to have come closer to reaching an agreement with Barcelona and is no longer willing to abandon the club.
Despite this, Mourinho still has hope of signing Umtiti and he has a plan to fit him into the United squad.
According to the Sun newspaper, Mouinho plans to send Swedish defender Victor Lindelof out on loan next season and is looking at bringing in either Jonny Evans (a former United player) or Umtiti.
BARCELONA NEGOTIATIONS
It won't be easy for Mourinho, now that Umtiti has come closer to reaching an agreement over a new contract. Negotiations between the player's people and the club are advancing, and it's possible a deal will be reached before the World Cup.
