There are reports that the Manchester City of Josep Guardiola, Txiki Begiristain and Ferran Soriano have sounded out the possibility of signing FC Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets.
It's a deal which is unlikely to happen, if not impossible, but Onda Cero say the Premier League club have asked about the possibility of doing a deal for the Spain international.
However, new Barça coach Ernesto Valverde is keen to bring in new faces and is certainly not ready to lose any more of his stars.
Despite that, Pep and Txiki are keen to bolster City's midfielder and see Busquets as an option. Fernando's move to Galatasaray has left them short in the middle of the pitch.
City's hierarchy asked Barça about the situation, Onda Cero say, and if the player would be prepared to move to the Premier League.
Busquets signed a new deal at Camp Nou in 2016, which runs until 2021 and his buyout clause is fixed at 200 million euros. He also has an option to extend his deal until 2023.
