Puyol speaks out on the 'Dembele saga'

The problems Ousmane Dembele is having as he tries to adapt to life in Barcelona continues to generate reactions. The last of which comes from Carles Puyol, who took advantage of a Padel tournament to speak about the French winger.

Puyol was as straight forward as you've come to expect from the former defender. "I don't know how the dressing room works nowdays but it's clear that everyone must help Dembele for the common good."

And while Puyol is calling on the collective to help Dembele, he was also keen to point out that the youngster must avoid making any more mistakes too too. "It's also worth remembering the attitude of players in these types of cases. Sometimes, when you're young, you don't realise what you have, where you are, and you let things escape from your grasp."

Puyol shied away from talking about the player's workrate and asked for Dembele to be given more time due to the enormous quality he possesses.
